The Chantada livestock market hosted a new edition of the Friesian cattle auction in the town of Lugo. Organized by Africor Lugo in collaboration with the Concello de Chantada and the Cooperativa Aira, a total of 19 animals were put up for sale.
After finishing, the results were that 17 cows and heifers were sold out of the 19 cows and heifers brought to the track, the turnover reached 41,800 euros and the average price reached 2,459 euros.
As a highlight of the event, Penelas Logistics Candelaria, presented by Penelas (Castro de Rei), was the animal that achieved the highest sale price. It was bought by Gandería López Lampaza (Sober) for 3,100 euros.
