AIRA contributes to the incorporation of new technologies on farms

The incorporation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the field is among the priorities for Europe, with the challenge that these advances represent for livestock farms. AIRA continues its commitment to facilitate the incorporation of new technologies to farms and partner farms with projects such as TRAC PLUS .

Specifically, the TRAC PLUS project seeks to develop artificial intelligence technology from big date tools and its protection under blockchain in the dairy sector, to obtain full traceability from farm to table and the development of a technical-economic advice tool for farmers and customers.

The project has a budget of 391,895 euros and obtained funding from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation within the Red.es call for proposals, with a contribution of 156,758.08 euros.

After a year of work, the first results are already beginning to be seen with the integration of all farm data. In the coming months, further progress will be made in order to have the tools to provide direct advice to members and customers based on the data collected.
