<\/li><li>3 tablespoons of milk (the amount can be adjusted to achieve your preferred consistency)<\/li><li>1 tablespoon of <strong><a style=\"color: #94c123\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aira.es\/en\/clarified-butter\/\">AIRA clarified butter<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li>Salt \/ flaky sea salt<\/li><li>Black pepper<\/li><li>Sweet and hot paprika<\/li><li>Olive oil<\/li><li>Parsley \/ chives (optional, for garnish)<\/li><\/ul><h2>Step by step<\/h2><h3>1. Prepare the octopus<\/h3><p>If you are using pre-cooked octopus, open the package and heat it in the microwave for 1 minute. If you prefer to prepare the octopus yourself, we recommend following the tips from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elreydelpulpo.com\/cocina\/preparar\/cocer-pulpo-congelado\/\">El Rey del Pulpo<\/a>. <\/p><h3>2. Prepare the mashed potatoes<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Peel the potatoes and cut them into wedges. Place a pot of salted water over medium-high heat and, once the water starts to boil, add the potatoes. Cook for approximately 20 minutes, until tender.  <\/p><p>Drain the potatoes well and place them in a bowl. Add <span style=\"color: #94c123\"><a style=\"color: #94c123\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aira.es\/en\/clarified-butter\/\">AIRA clarified butter<\/a><\/span>, milk and a pinch of ground black pepper. Mash everything with a fork until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture.  <\/p><p><span style=\"color: #94c100\"><a style=\"color: #94c100\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aira.es\/en\/clarified-butter\/\">AIRA clarified butter<\/a><\/span> adds a delicate flavour and an especially creamy texture to the mashed potatoes, making it the perfect accompaniment to the octopus.<\/p><h3>3. Cook the octopus<\/h3><p>Heat a frying pan with a little olive oil. Once it is very hot, add the octopus tentacles with the suckers facing upwards. Cook until lightly browned, then turn them over and continue cooking until they are nicely golden.  <\/p><h3>4. Plate and finish the dish<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Spread the mashed potatoes over the plate and place the octopus tentacles on top.
